Woes of a Writer.

Sometimes I feel that a writer's life is too demanding. It's hard being a writer especially when you are a shy person. So often, writers are propelled into the public light when all they want to do is sit behind closed doors and produce a story that they think might be entertaining. The need to promote require you use social media. Twitter and facebook becomes distracting. I get caught up with the buzz of activity and lose track of time. Discipline is the key they say but who wants to be a taskmaster to oneself? When I self-discipline I get lonely and it's back to social media I go...heaven help me!
